Kevin Boyd is a board-certified pediatric dentist with over 20 years experience delivering outstanding dental healthcare to infants, children, adolescents, and young adults with physical and/or mental disabilities, and other special needs.
I (Bryan) met Dr. Kevin Boyd at AHS13, this meeting alone was worth the trip to Atlanta! In Atlanta we talked all things childhood health, especially from the neck up :-) I was absolutely fascinated with our conversation and his presentation. I even managed to track him down after his talk for even more one on one. I really think this information is (r)evolutionary, and some simple ancient wisdom mixed in for good measure. What do you think?
Baby Led Weening: "No purees, no ice cube trays, no food processor, no potato masher, no baby rice, no weird fruit and veg combos… just you and your child, eating food that you enjoy with you and your family."
- A Joy Moeller video: "Learn how to chew, breath, swallow correctly. Teach the teeth, bones and muscles to work in harmony by re-educating or re-patterning the oral and facial muscles with simple exercises. Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy can help reduce the time spent in braces and dental appliances, correct an open bite and tongue thrust, correct speech impediments, eliminate nail biting, provide facial toning, elminate thumb-sucking in young children, find relief from TMJ and much more."
